SHIPMENTS:

We ship via Air Freight from Baltimore (BWI) (Monday and Wednesday) and Dulles International (IAD) on Monday.  We also ship FED EX and UPS, Monday through Thursday.  Other shipping arrangements may be possible, please contact the office for details.

PACKING/CARTON:

There is a “packing/carton charge” to the customer.  This includes a double walled corrugated box with coated liner, double bags for fish over 4” in length, ice pack, oxygen, preparation and packing.

TERMS:

All new accounts are to be paid by Credit Card (Visa, MasterCard or American Express).  Initial order will be prepaid. All further orders will be processed the day following shipping.  In the event your credit card does not go through, future shipments will be suspended until the account is paid in full.

There will be a $25.00 fee for all returned checks.

In the event an account becomes more than 15 days past due, interest will be charged at the rate of 1½% per month or 18% per year on all past due accounts. Future shipments will be suspended until the past due amount is satisfied.

Payment for fish delivered direct or picked up at our business must be made by cash or credit card.

A detailed statement is emailed/faxed the last of each month to inform each customer of the status of his account.  If there is any discrepancy in the statement, Mt. Parnell Fisheries should be notified.  (Please contact the office if you would like invoices and statements sent by Postal mail)

LIVE DELIVERY:

When Goldfish are shipped or delivered by us, we guarantee same to be delivered in salable condition.  Extra fish (3%) are added to offset any transit losses.  Any losses in excess of this 3% must be reported to us within 24 hours after the shipment is received.  Credit for these losses will be deducted from the invoice for your next shipment if report has been made and agreed upon.

STATEMENT OF POLICY:

All shipments are carefully inspected before forwarding, however with Goldfish, livability depends largely upon favorable conditions while in transit as well as proper care after delivery.  We have no control over these conditions, therefore, it is mutually agreed between purchaser and seller that in no case shall we be liable for any sum greater than the value of the fish on the original invoice.

REGULATIONS:

It is the purchaser’s responsibility to follow all Local, State, (Provincial), and Federal Laws when making purchases.
